Summary

	A field agent was an agent who worked in the field as opposed to one who operated at the office or headquarters. A field agent could work alone or in a group but usually had a case officer who was in charge. Field agents could be undercover, and travel using fake documents that may be under the name of a front organization or shell corporation.
